When Diagnostic Centers of America wanted to expand into the West Palm Beach market, DCA found a retail center for sale on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd that would become their West Palm Beach location. The building was largely vacant but had very little of what a Multi Modal Imaging Center required. It was too small and did not have the necessary power infrastructure that would be required.  We worked with DCA to determine a working plan that would contain two MRI, a PET CT, CT, Nuclear Medicine, X-Ray, Mammography, Ultrasound, and Bone Density equipment. Along with the infrastructure that goes with this wide array of imaging modalities. 

 

As the plan developed, we met with city planning and building officials to plot a course to complete the project within one year.  This required a concurrent site plan approval and building permit process.  The building shell was significantly modified with an addition and appearance update along with a prominent entry for DCA.  A major power upgrade and cooling equipment enclosure was also added. 

 

DCA worked with their interior designer to develop a contemporary finish palate to accentuate the plan design.  This was a project that happened very quickly given the number of approvals required.  We are currently adding the second MRI that was designed into the original plan. We have since designed a corporate headquarters interior for DCA and most recently a new Imaging Center in Palm Beach Gardens.
